Can I buy a house with my partner if we are not married?

Yes. Two people can buy a home together married or not. Each person on the loan adds their income, and their credit and debts count too.

If one of you has much lower credit or a lot of debt, sometimes it works better for only one person to be on the loan. The lender can run it both ways.

Decide together whose names go on the title, and what happens if you split up. A real estate lawyer can help you write that down.
