What is cash to close, and does it include my deposit?

Cash to close is what you bring on closing day. It is your down payment and closing costs, minus your deposit and any credits from the builder.

Your deposit has already been paid, so it comes off the total. Any money the builder pays toward closing comes off too.

If a number on your Closing Disclosure does not match what you expected, ask your lender and us before closing day.
