Do I get my deposit back if the inspection finds problems?

Usually the builder fixes what the inspection finds, and you go on to closing. Many builder contracts do not let you cancel over an inspection, so read that part before you sign.

Your agent sends the builder the inspection report and gets every repair the builder agrees to in writing.

At closing, your deposit counts toward what you owe. It is not lost money when the sale goes through.
