Ask yourself what you want. Someone who meets you at the model home and opens the door, or someone who sells new homes for a living and knows what to push for?
Most people with a real estate license sell very few homes. In one count of MLS sales from December 2024 to November 2025, 71.1% of licensed agents closed zero. Another 14.9% closed 1 to 4, and 7% closed 5 to 9.
Put together, about 93 in 100 agents sold fewer than 10 homes that year. That is less than one a month.
An agent like that can walk in beside you. But they cannot tell you which homes the builder most wants to sell, or what to ask for.
The work that saves you money happens away from the model home: comparing homes and builders, asking for the builder's best deal, reading the contract and pushing back. Your agent does that every day, for buyer after buyer.
Working this way lets one agent help far more families, and it is part of how you never pay us anything. We have helped buyers buy over $100 million in homes.
